East Timor Ermera Hatuhei
SPRING 2024
Applesauce, orange peel, wheat bread
This coffee is produced by 10 select farmers from the Ducurai village, whose group is called “Hatuhei”, which translates to “beside the stone” and comes from their particular location on the mountainside. The Ducurai village is just north of Tatamailau’s peak and Hatuhei is known for its rich inland forest -- a natural breeding of local robusta and typica trees. Bright notes of rich, sweet applesauce and delicate orange, is punctuated with a savory slice of toasted wheat bread. Complex and rich, this coffee will pack a flavorful punch on its own or with a splash a milk.
